Stanford GSB and Genstar Capital are excited to host a private session for Synergist members on Wednesday, August 6 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm Pacific Time. You’re invited to meet Erin Nixon, Assistant Dean of GSB Admissions and Financial Aid, and Wil Torres, Global Director of Admissions, online to talk about Stanford's MBA Program and tips, strategies, and best practices for the admission process.

ERIN NIXON

Erin Nixon is Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Stanford GSB. Before returning to the GSB for this role, she has worked as a strategy and operations executive across industries and geographies, including in management consulting with BCG, general management in hypergrowth tech while at LinkedIn, with early stage startups across Europe, and also as a small business owner and advisor in the world of wine.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Erin received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford University and is Stanford MBA Class of 2010. Having spent the last 10 years living in London and Barcelona, she is delighted to be back home on the Farm.

WIL TORRES

Wil is a Global Admissions Director with the Stanford GSB Admissions Office. A self professed "admissions nerd," what matters to him is helping others better understand the application process and embark on the journey with confidence.  Wil has a BS in Marine Biology from UCLA, an EdM in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and is currently working on his EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California, where his research interests lay in business school admissions and the applicant experience.
