Sophie is currently an Associate at Lone View Capital, a technology focused private equity firm in Los Angeles. Previously, Sophie was a private equity analyst at K1 Investment Management. Sophie received her BA in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University and was a member of the Varsity Field Hockey Team.

Alice Kim

LA Co-President & CFO

Alice currently works as a Senior Associate at GroundForce Capital (formerly PowerPlant Partners), a growth equity firm investing businesses that are driving positive impact on people and the planet. Prior to joining GroundForce Capital, Alice was an Associate at Freeman Spogli & Co., a consumer & distribution-focused private equity firm based in Los Angeles. She started her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Perella Weinberg Partners. Alice graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a major in Business Economics and minor in Accounting. In her spare time, Alice enjoys surfing, weightlifting, golfing, traveling, and exploring the LA dining scene.

Jannah Boudreaux

Jannah Boudreaux is an associate for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ growth capital strategies where she is primarily responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, assisting deal execution and the monitoring of portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Kayne, Boudreaux started her career at Polaris Growth Fund, a SaaS focused private equity firm in Boston.

Boudreaux earned a B.B.A Magna Cum Laude with honors distinction in Finance from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Brooklyn Button

Brooklyn is currently an Analyst with The Riverside Company’s Micro-Cap Fund, a generalist private equity investment team focused on the smaller end of the middle market. She is originally from Irvine, California and holds a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Claremont McKenna College (CMC) where she also competed on the cross country and track teams. In her free time, Brooklyn enjoys running with the Venice Run Club, golfing, and spending time at local farmers markets.

Caroline Chmiel

Caroline currently works as a Vice President at Monogram Capital Partners, a consumer & retail focused private equity firm based in Los Angeles where she specializes in the Beauty & Personal Care and Food & Beverage sectors. Prior to Monogram, Caroline was an Investment Banking Analyst at Financo, where she focused on the consumer & retail sector. Caroline graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2018 with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, walks on the boardwalk, Pilates, and exploring new restaurants throughout LA.

Alexa Feuerman

Alexa is an Associate at LightBay Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm that invests in healthcare, business services, and consumer services companies across the capital structure. Previously, she was an investment banking associate at The Sage Group, a boutique investment bank providing M&A advisory services to branded consumer companies. Alexa graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics. Outside of work, Alexa likes spending time outdoors skiing and hiking, playing pickleball or tennis with friends, and trying new restaurants.

Antonia Leggett

Antonia Leggett is a Senior Associate at Butterfly and is responsible for all aspects of private equity investments, including due diligence, transaction execution and investment monitoring. She is actively involved with Butterfly’s investments in Chosen Foods, Orgain, and Pacifico Aquaculture.

Prior to joining Butterfly, Ms. Leggett worked at Piper Sandler (formerly Piper Jaffray) where she was involved in a variety of consumer transactions. Ms. Leggett graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and Economics.

Maya Trujillo

Maya is an Analyst at VamosVentures, an LA-based venture capital fund that invests in Latinx and diverse teams building tech-driven companies across four verticals - Health & Wellness, Future of Work, FinTech & Sustainability. Maya supports deal diligence & execution across sectors and works on fund strategy and fundraising efforts. A Philadelphia native, Maya graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics concentrating in Behavioral Economics. In her spare time, Maya enjoys travel, golf, workout classes, and the LA restaurant scene. Maya plans her schedule around Eagles, Sixers & Phillies games.

Helen Wang

Helen is a Senior Associate at Pendulum in Los Angeles. Prior to Pendulum, Helen was an Associate at Lindsay Goldberg in New York. She started her career as an Analyst on the Industrials Investment Banking team at Lazard in New York. Helen graduated from NYU Stern with a BS in Finance and Data Science.

Originally from Shanghai, Helen grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. In her free time, she enjoys pilates, boxing, and trying new restaurants. 

Danielle Zhang

Danielle is an investor at Clocktower Ventures, focusing on diligence, sourcing, and execution for fintech companies across North America, LatAm, and Europe. Danielle started her career as a trader at JP Morgan on the agency mortgage-backed securities desk in New York. She moved to LA two years ago and previously served as the co-president of Synergist's LA chapter. Danielle received her BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Originally from New Jersey, Danielle loves the outdoors, racquet sports, cooking Sichuan food, podcasts, and playing piano.

Adele English

Adele is a Senior Associate at March Capital, a Santa Monica-based venture capital and growth equity firm managing ~$2B. Adele covers fintech and cloud & data infrastructure at March, though the firm invests broadly across cybersecurity, cloud & data infrastructure, and IT automation. Adele earned her B.A. from Claremont McKenna College (CMC), where she currently serves as a board member for both the Randall Lewis Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Alumni Association. Outside of work, she spends most of her time exploring the outdoors and enjoying the local food scene with friends and family.

Siena Landay

Siena is an investor at TriLinc Global, focusing on diligence, credit analysis, and portfolio monitoring for companies across Europe, North America, and Africa. Siena was previously in the Markets Group in Short-Term Credit at Citigroup. Siena graduated manga cum laude from Boston University Questrom School of Business with a major in Business Administration, concentration in Finance and minor in Economics. In her spare time, Siena enjoys skiing, tennis, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Zoe Markowitz

Zoe Markowitz is an Associate at K1 Investment Management where she diligences and executes on investments across all verticals in B2B SaaS. She is originally from New York City and received her BA in Economics from the University of Michigan. In her free time, Zoe enjoys watching documentaries, traveling, eating sushi, and trying new workout classes across LA.


Katie Vasquez

Katie is an Investor at Calibrate Ventures, a Los Angeles based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage DeepTech companies. Prior to Calibrate, Katie was an associate at MTech Capital investing in early-to-growth staged FinTech and InsurTech companies in the US and Europe. Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics with honors from Brown University. Outside of work, Katie enjoys skiing, yoga, and attending concerts in the LA music scene.

Dominique Yadegar

Dominique is a Vice President at Bonfire Ventures, a Los Angeles-based seed-stage venture firm focused on B2B software. Prior to joining Bonfire, Dominique was at Industry Ventures where she focused on direct, SPV, fund of funds, and secondary investing in early to mid-stage B2B software. Previously, she was in investment banking at Goldman Sachs where she advised a range of Industrial companies on various M&A transactions and financings. Dominique holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics from Chapman University.
