Becca (Katzen) Giannobile, Boston Co-President
Becca is currently a Senior Associate at Silversmith Capital Partners, focusing on investments in Software and Information Services. Prior to Silversmith, Becca was a private equity investor at Providence Equity Partners and an investment banking analyst at RBC. Becca graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oregon in 2017 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. During her time as a Duck, she played as a goalie for the D1 Oregon Women’s Lacrosse Team. A Baltimore native, Becca enjoys running, CrossFit, and attending as many Springsteen concerts as possible.
Vicky Liu, Boston Co-President
Vicky is an Associate at Summit Partners on the Growth Equity Technology team. Prior to Summit Partners, she was an Analyst in Evercore’s Technology M&A group in Menlo Park. Vicky graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University with a BA in Political Science and French. In her free time, she enjoys writing humor and visiting parks, beaches, and art museums.
Victoria Brown, VP Membership
Victoria Brown is a Growth Equity associate at Great Hill Partners on the Digital E-Commerce Team. Prior to joining GHP, Victoria worked as a Private Equity Associate on the Healthcare Team at Thomas H. Lee Partners and as a business analyst in the Private Equity and Principal Investors Practice at McKinsey & Company. She holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with majors in Finance and Statistics and a minor in Mathematics. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys cooking, wine tasting, traveling, and weightlifting.
Karrisha Gillespie, VP Fundraising
Karrisha currently works as an investor at Summit Partners. Prior to Summit, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in New York City. Karrisha is originally from Boston and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Wellesley College in 2019. In her spare time, Karrisha enjoys quality time with loved ones, civic engagement, travel, and live sports.
Joelle Marx, CFO
Joelle currently works as an associate at HarbourVest Partners on the direct investments team. Prior to HarbourVest, Joelle worked at Wavecrest Growth Partners in Boston and started her career in investment banking at R.W. Baird in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in International Relations and minors in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies. In her free time, Joelle enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurant and spending time with family & friends.
Sydney Gabrielson
Sydney joined TA Associates in 2022, as an associate in the North American Tech Group where she focuses on investments in enterprise software. Prior to TA, Sydney worked at Morgan Stanley in New York on the Technology Investment Banking team. Sydney graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Mathematics, Finance, & Economics. In her free time, her favorite activity is sharing a meal with my friends and family at Waffle House. Sydney's go-to order is a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with hashbrowns covered (+ cheese) and smothered (+ onions).
Bethany Ko
Bethany is currently an Associate at Blackstone Life Sciences, where she focuses on investments in the therapeutic, medtech, and biopharma industry. Prior to joining Blackstone, Bethany was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Healthcare Investment Banking group in New York. She graduated from University of Chicago in 2020 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences. In her spare time, Bethany enjoys sunny walks, trying new restaurants, and spending time by the water.
Alice Obas
Alice is an Investment Associate at Rockpoint, a Real Estate Private Equity firm based in Boston. Prior to joining Rockpoint in 2022, Alice worked at Long Wharf Capital in the Real Estate Private Equity Group and at Eaton Vance Asset Management in the Credit Investment Group. Alice graduated with honors from Williams College in 2019 with a B.A. in Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, discovering new playlists, exploring the outdoors, and trying new restaurants.
Melika Rahbar
Melika is currently an Analyst at Bain Capital, where she focuses on investments that are uncorrelated with public equities on the Partnership Strategies team. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, along with minors in Public Policy and Entrepreneurship in 2022. Originally from Southern California, Melika loves to spend her free time exploring Boston, hanging out with friends, going on runs, and debating foreign policy.

Simran is currently an Associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners in the Financial Technology & Services Group. Prior to THL, she worked as an Analyst at Harris Williams in their Boston Technology Group. Simran graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In her free time, Simran enjoys reading, exercising, and exploring the Boston restaurant scene.
Florence Wang, VP Mentorship
Florence is an Associate at Bain Capital, where she focuses on growth investments in technology as part of the Tech Opportunities fund. She graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Public Policy and certificate in Statistics & Machine Learning. Outside of work, Florence is a volunteer at Big Sister Boston and Gaia Art Space in Hong Kong. She enjoys live music, independent films, reading memoirs, being outdoors, and ranking restaurants on Beli.

Prior to BayPine, she was an Investment Banking Analyst and Associate at Deutsche Bank in their Global Industrials Group, based out of New York. Becca graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2019 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Chinese. When she’s not searching for the best soup dumplings in Boston, Becca enjoys hiking in the White Mountains and playing pickleball with family & friends.

Ashley is currently a Growth Investor at PSG, a software-focused growth equity firm in Boston. Previously, she began her career as an analyst with Frontier Growth. Ashley graduated summa cum laude from The College of Charleston with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Global Logistics. In her spare time, if she’s not in the gym Olympic weightlifting or completing CrossFit workouts, you can find her traveling and exploring the world and trying the local cuisines along the way.
Annie Petrino
Annie Petrino is currently a Senior Associate at HarbourVest Partners. She joined HarbourVest Partners in 2021 and focuses on sourcing, reviewing, executing, and monitoring secondary private equity opportunities, including traditional and complex transactions. Previously, Annie was an investment banking analyst at BofA Securities in the real estate, gaming, and lodging group and completed over $51 billion of equity capital markets, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, and mergers & acquisitions transactions. Annie received a Bachelor of Arts (with first class honors) in economics from the College of William and Mary / University of St Andrews Joint Degree Program in 2019. In her free time, Annie enjoys spending time outdoors as well as hiking, sailing, and skiing.
